Someone is having trouble joining my group

We're excited for you and your team to jump in to the Worship Initiative and grow as worship leaders together!

This article will address possible reasons someone is having trouble joining your group and how to troubleshoot the issue.

 

Reasons someone is unable to join your group

1. They have previously unsubscribed from Worship Initiative emails and therefore, are not receiving the invite link to your group.

Note: if someone has let you know they didn't receive an invite link, this is most likely the issue. 

 

2. They already belong to another group.

Sometimes, if someone already belongs to another group, they will have an issue joining yours through the link you sent to them.

 

3. They signed up for an account on their own, apart from using the link you sent.

If someone you invited ended up creating an account any other way besides the link you sent them, they will not be automatically placed in your group.

Note: If you invite someone to your group, they will not need to enter any payment info for their account. If they are asked at any point to enter payment info, they have done something wrong and should stop and contact hello@worshipinitiative.com.

 

What to do

  1. The first thing to do is make sure the person you're inviting is following the correct steps when using your group's invite link.
    1. If they already have a Worship Initiative account when you invite them, they should click "Sign In" after clicking the invite link.
    2. If they do not have an existing account yet when you invite them, they should click "Sign Up".
    3. If someone clicks the wrong option, they will encounter issues.
  2. If someone didn't receive the invite link you sent them, reach out to us by emailing hello@worshipinitiative.com or through the chat box on out site.
    1. Please include the email addresses that have not received the invite link you sent and our team will take care of everything!!
