My subscription charge won't go through

This article will address common reasons for receiving an error message regarding failed Worship Initiative subscription payments as well as errors when updating your payment info.

 

Here's an example of the error message you might see

First, the reasons:

  1. You just updated your payment info
  2. Your card has expired
  3. Your card has insufficient funds

Note: The error message or email saying "insufficient funds" can mean multiple things so you don't necessarily need to change cards or contact your bank. That will be the last resort.

 

Now, the solutions!

  1. The first step is to check your current payment info to ensure it is up to date and your card on file has not expired.
  2. If you are receiving an error message immediately after updating your payment info, the best thing to do is wait 1 day for our system get around to recognizing and processing your new card. If you have waited a day and our system still hasn't processed your payment, please reach out to our customer service team at customersupport@worshipinitiative.com.
  3. If you are receiving any error message when signing up for an account or when attempting to update payment info, try the following:
    1. Use a different web browser
    2. Use a private browsing tab
    3. Disable ad blockers
