How can I invite others to join my group?

How to begin a group subscription
1. If you do not already have a Worship Initiative account
If you do not already have a Worship Initiative account, you can click here to create an account and begin a group subscription.
We offer multiple group size options depending on your context and team's needs. Group accounts are available in sizes of 5, 10, and 25 seats.
Note: Group accounts greater than 25 people are available but you will need to contact our team at hello@worshipinitiative.com to get this setup!
2. If you already have an individual Worship Initiative account
If you already have an individual account, you can change to a group account through the following steps.
- Go to "My Account", found in the dropdown menu under your name.
- Go to "My Subscription" in the left hand navigation menu.
- Click "Modify Subscription" under your plan information.
- Choose your preferred group size and billing frequency and click "continue".
How to invite others to your group
Once you have successfully created a group account, your next step is to invite others to join!
You can do this by following the steps listed below:
- Go to "My Team" found in the dropdown menu under your name.
- Click "Manage Team" in the left hand navigation menu.
- Enter the invitee's name and email in the box labeled "Add a Group Member" and click "Invite Group Member".
If someone is having trouble joining your group, please refer to the troubleshooting section at the end of this article.
Managing your group
If you are the owner or admin of your group, you will have the ability to do the following:
1. Manage group info
Within the "Manage Team" section of your group, in order to create the best experience for your group, you can:
- Edit your organization's name
- Upload an organization logo
2. Manage group members
Also within the "Manage Team" section, you can do the following:
- Remove members from your group
- Change the status of anyone to owner or admin. (Note: there can only be one of each of these within your team)
- See the login count and number of videos viewed for each group member
- Email group members
3. Manage resources for your group
There are two main ways you can manage resources for your group:
1. Team Song Library-
- Within the song page of any song, you can click the "+" button to add it to your team's song library in order to have a curated list of songs you would like your team to learn.
2. Team Playlists

- On any video, you can click the "+" button to add it to your team's recommended videos or to a specific playlist you've created.
- You can create a new playlist by going to "My Team" > "Team Playlists" > "Create Playlist".
Troubleshooting common errors
Error 1: Someone you invited is unable to join
This could be due to any of the following reasons:
- They never received an email invitation
- This is most likely due to them being unsubscribed from receiving emails from us.
- To solve this, email hello@worshipinitiative.com and we can get them added for you!
- They already belong to another group
- If they are unable to join your group because they are already part of another group, they will need to leave their current group before joining.
- They created an account on their own instead of through the link you sent
- As long as someone uses the link you sent them to sign up or log in, they will automatically be added to your group. However, if for some reason they ended up signing up through some other route, you can either invite them again or email us and we can get it resolved!
Those you invite to your group will not be asked to enter payment info. If they are being asked to enter their payment info, they should not proceed and instead start over or contact our team.
